2 New Options For Email Tracking

I am very happy to let you know we have 2 new options for email tracking. These were among the most requested features, I am sure you will find them very handy.

two new options for email tracking

The first one is for having email tracking enabled for all outgoing messages by default. When you have this option checked, you will not need to enable tracking each time you write a message. The “Track” button will be green; indicating it is enabled when you just open up a compose window. You can always disable tracking on a per message basis when you don’t need it.

Secondly, now you will have the option NOT to track links in the email. The default behaviour was to notify you when a link was clicked in a message you’ve sent. However to be able to achieve this, the links were being transformed. For example, a hyperlink to google http://www.google.com was becoming something like https://track.rightinbox.com/follow/ceb2340d-affa-4780-a32f-4cfe3e78c217/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F
Although how the link appears does not change, some users were not comfortable with this practice. So, here we have the option to disable link tracking.

We want to hear from you! If you have any questions, feedback or suggestions, please do let us know.

Have a great day!

Firstly I’m a huge fan of the product and have recommended it to 30+ people.

A possible solution to the link redirect appearance issue might be to allow users with their own domain to mask it under a subdomain using a CNAME record. e.g. app.oraleye.com/dl The guys at TapStream have a pretty seamless process for this.

That’s a good suggestion indeed. We should work on that idea.

I’d like to know when emails are forwarded without my permission. Is this possible using Right Inbox??
If not, it would be useful. Many thanks :)

Unfortunately it is not possible to tell for sure. But when you use email tracking, you will have a better chance understanding whereabouts of your message.

I have a doubt to report : when the confirmation mail arrives saying the email I sent was open , how could I see (or define) who is who opended, when I sent the email with several addresses ?
the confirmation mail shows the Ip address but not the receiver .
    thanks in advance

Right Inbox email tracking has a limited support for multiple recipients.
Technically there is no way to distinguish between recipients. Therefore, TO, CC and BCC recipients are all treated the same. So, you will be notified when your email is opened but you cannot be informed about who actually opened it. However, you will continue receiving notifications for each recipient who opens your email.
